Uma Noite Para Ser Lembrada !

Uma noite fabulosa para ser lembrada na história do rock, John Lennon fez uma participação em três músicas neste show, sendo que esta, era sua primeira aparição em um palco após muitos anos ausente. Quando John Lennon foi assassinado em Dezembro de 1980, coincidentemente esta também se tornou sua última aparição em um palco... Tudo começou quando Elton participava como convidado da gravação do disco de Lennon intitulado "Walls And Bridges" de 1974, onde faria um dueto com Lennon e tocaria piano nas músicas "Whatever Gets You Through The Night" e "Surprise, Surprise", então, Elton propôs que se Whatever Gets... alcança-se o primeiro lugar nas paradas de sucesso, Lennon subiria ao palco em um show de Elton, Lennon concordou, sem dar muito crédito. Mas para sua surpresa, a profecia de Elton se concretizou, bastava agora combinar onde seria paga a aposta...O palco escolhido, foi o Madison Square Garden, em Nova Iorque, faltava escolher as músicas que os dois fariam juntos, chegaram então a um acordo, cantariam e tocariam "I Saw Her Standing There", dos Beatles, "Whatever Gets You Through The Night" (a causadora no bom sentido deste maravilhoso encontro) do próprio Lennon, e "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds", também dos Beatles. O encontro dos dois e muito mais, você confere agora neste maravilhoso show, divirta-se !!!
